Fantastic brunch and dinner options. Brunch offers something different than your usual DC brunch spot with unlimited mimosas and Italian takes on brunch classics. Dinner is cozy and delicious. I miss (for obvious reasons...) the upstairs Lucy bar.
Little Coco's is a BIG treasure! The apertivo bottomless option is genius, and just the snack/drink combo portion to get the party started. The atmosphere is like a cozy pizzeria, with excellent artwork and spacious booths. 5/5 stars; highly recommend.
Our family traveled to D.C. to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday and we decided on this little Italian restaurant for dinner one night. The service was excellent, some of the best I've ever experienced at a restaurant. The waiter was very personable, knew the menu and made excellent recommendations and was extremely gracious. On top of the service, the food was excellent. The chicken Parm was crispy on the outside but still very tender and juicy, the Bolognese was rich and flavorful and the spicy rigatoni was spot on. A fantastic experience.
Only word needed to describe Little Coco’s - phenomenal. The food? Phenomenal. The service? Phenomenal. The atmosphere? Phenomenal. Highly recommend coming to Little Coco’s.
The Classic Breakfast was plentiful, so much bacon. Yummy potato cake! They have lambrusco!
Wow delicious apps and dinner. Fried green tomatoes were out of this world, the artichoke bruschetta was also super yummy. For entrees we had the gnocchetti w/ crab and the shrimp risotto. The shrimp risotto was surprisingly spicy, which I liked, but I could see the heat level being too high for some if not most. The only thing we didn't care for was seating on the second floor. There was a big family get together next to us, and about 9 children who screamed the entire time. No fault of the restaurant for this and I was impressed at how our waitress managed that table's chaos, but the acoustics and resulting cacophony from the out of control children was extreme. The ambiance of the downstairs dining room is much nicer imo. I'm looking forward to coming back again!
What a gem! The decor is so cozy & welcoming.. Food is scrumptious we ordered from the brunch menu & artichoke bruschetta that was INSANELY delish. Portions are generous, drinks are great and honestly after trying out at least 6 other places for brunch, this was significantly less expensive-the 5% service charge was negligible Literally made a resy for the following weekend the same day lol
I got delivery from little cocos and the food came cold but that isn’t their fault. If it’s hot it would have been fantastic. This style of pizza is not my preference but it was delicious for what it was. You get every flavor you want and the crust held up perfect. The crust was phenomenal. The pepperoni pizza fell flat for me because I like a ton of flavor and spice, but I am certain everyone else will love it. The mt Vesuvius pizza was better for me. I could taste the japaeno, honey, and the cheese. I think the meatballs would have been good if they were hot. The sauce was bland and watery vs full of flavor and they lacked seasoning, but that doesn’t mean bad. It only means it isn’t my preference. They give you a ton of Parmesan and sauce which is great. If I ordered again I’d put chili flakes, oregano, and a bit of garlic powder and basil into the sauce before eating it. Overall little coco is a great little pizza shop. Absolutely worth checking out.
